Higher Ed-Management

In courses like BBA & MBA, business simulations are played as a credited course in curriculum of all the good B schools in the world. These games help tie in the management concepts studied by the students in theory and through case studies. In simulations, since students build their company from scratch, the ownership for decisions is high and strategies are thought out and implemented passionately.

For students in non-management courses like engineering, design, finance, accounting or those promoting new startups, simulations work as a crash course in business. They  promote entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship as it demystifies business for them. Most students whether or not they get into management roles, become part of businesses. It becomes imperative for them to know how decisions are made and how their role impacts other functions in the business.
